Our Story
Inspired by people and nature.
Moved by relationships and the needs of the world.
It has taken a lot of living to arrive here at Wirelight Dreams. Some of us, like Julia Child, take some time to find our passion. In 2022, at age 38, I was introduced to wire-wrapping by my good friend, Kelley, of Copper Curiosities and Kelley’s Bake Shoppe. Creating with wire and obsessing over pretty stones quickly became more than just a fun hobby.
This is “our story” because Wirelight Dreams would not exist without many people. First, at the risk of coming on too strong and turning people off, I have to give God the credit. He has given me an imagination, artistic ability, some perfectionist tendencies, and relationships with some very amazing people. I have come to know many people taking their huge hearts to places where they can bring love, hope, and much-needed relief directly to people in countries such as India, Uganda, and Belarus. I have also had the joy of joining them overseas and gaining first-hand experience of their work. Yet, it’s not work. It’s joy. The people they help are themselves amazing and full of life. I hope to be able to share with you some of their stories in my upcoming blog.
Volunteering, while free, comes with a very real need for financial support and resources. Now, I have been given a way to help fill those needs. Without the huge hearts around me, jewelry might have remained a hobby. My life and work have a common goal: supporting those who extend their love to those most in need of it.
We all bring something special into the world. Love you all!

My original designs are predominantly inspired by nature around me or by the stones themselves: my imagination finds images in the stones, and my fingers turn those images into beautiful jewelry.
However, I could not create these designs without the techniques I’ve learned from some wonderful artists who have graciously made tutorials available on YouTube. Many of my pieces for sale, particularly bracelets, were originally designed—or at least taught—by these good folks.
